Autographs & Photographs
YOU MUST HAVE AN ADMISSION TICKET TO BE ABLE TO USE AN AUTOGRAPH OR PHOTOGRAPH VOUCHER.
All autograph and photograph sales are available while supplies last. They are non-refundable except in the event of a guest cancellation. Each session has a finite number of slots. If you do not arrive on your scheduled day, there is no exchanging for a different day.
Autographs and photo-ops will also be available for sale on the second floor autograph table. The number of tickets available at the event will depend on pre-purchase sales.
Autograph: Attendees can purchase a maximum of 10 autographs at a time, but this can be done multiple times. One autograph = one signature. Attendees can bring in personal items for the guest to sign (at guest’s discretion). If you do not have a personal item to sign (or the guest declines to sign your personal item), there will be a selection of printed photos to chose from at the signing table at no additional cost. (This free photo is not available to those who get a personal item signed). You are not allowed to take pictures on personal cameras/cell phones while waiting in line.
Photograph: You can purchase a maximum of 10 photographs at a time, but this can be done multiple times. One ticket = one professional 8″x10″ print with photo session, maximum four (4) attendees in one photograph. Attendees may purchase a digital download and/or extra prints for an additional $10.00 (each), through Topher and Rae Studios, our official provider. Their goal is to have the digital photos available on the same day the photo was taken, but in the event of technological difficulties, it will be available no longer than one week later. You’ll receive an email at the email address you provide them as soon as the digital image is ready for you. You are not allowed to take pictures on personal cameras/cell phones while waiting in line.
Additional Notes: Please do not take pictures on personal cameras/cell phones of the guests while in line up for an autograph or photograph. You may be asked to leave the area or the convention and will not be eligible for a refund.
Pre-Purchasers please be sure to bring a copy of your pre-purchase ticket with you to the convention on the day of your chosen autograph/photograph session. Proceed to the second floor autograph booth, located on the second floor inside the Autograph room, to exchange the ticket for your autograph/photograph voucher.
All purchases are final sale, with no refunds available unless the guest cancels their appearance.
About the Photographers
Topher & Rae Studios is a photography studio based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Topher used to teach English in Korea and Rae was an accountant. That all seems like a lifetime ago. They met, fell in love, and to the bewilderment of friends and family, they ditched their stable careers to do what they love: taking photos. Things have been turning out better than expected and we’re beside ourselves with excitement that we’ll be photographers for 2016’s mega-event, Hal-Con. If this is all just a dream, it’s probably Rae’s dream. She dreams big, so don’t pinch her. We want to see how it all pans out. Thank-you.
A Message From The Photographers: Digital Photos
Your digital photo from the Celebrity Photobooth will be available for purchase during Hal-Con for $10. Cash & Credit Card payment will be accepted onsite. Our goal is to have the digital photos available on the same day the photo was taken, but in the event of technological difficulties, it will be available no longer than one week later. You’ll receive an email at the email address you provide us as soon as the digital image is ready for you.
Directions and your personal password for downloading your photo will be included on the back of your printed image. If you do not purchase your digital file during the event, you will still have the opportunity to purchase the digital photo or additional prints using the directions and password provide on the back of your image once the digital images are ready.
