Reservation Procedures

All individuals attending Nova Scotia's biggest sci-fi and gaming con are responsible for making their own reservations. Please call 1-800-268-1133 to speak to a reservations agent to assist with your reservation. Please request the Hal-Con Sci-Fi Fantasy Association special rate to receive the special group rate, based on availability of the Delta Hotels guest rooms. You may also book your reservation online at the website linked below.

The Airport

Travelling from Stanfield International Airport (YHZ) to Downtown Halifax.

Taxi
Multiple taxi services are available, average cost is around $55.

Rental
All major rental car agencies have locations at the airport.

Bus
Halifax bus route 320 goes from Halifax Stanfield International Airport to downtown Halifax. The cost is great—only $3.25 per direction, per adult. The bus runs every 30 minutes during peak times, and every hour during off peak hours. Total travel time is approximately 40-50 minutes to get to the airport. Downtown Parking

If you have a car and need to find parking downtown, there are lots of options! The city has a total of 700 metered parking spaces (which are free between 6pm and 8am and on weekends and holidays), and also has 3 large indoor parking facilities at MetroPark, Scotia Square and the Casino. Hourly cost for these locations is around $3.00. There are also smaller pay parking lots all throughout the city. Check out this link for more information on parking locations and smart tips!
