Best known to fans worldwide as Dr. Carlisle Cullen in The Twilight Saga, Peter Facinelli is a beloved fixture in pop culture and at Comic Cons around the globe. His diverse 30 year career spans film and television, including starring roles in the award-winning Showtime series Nurse Jackie, the action cult classic Fastlane, S.W.A.T., and as the iconic character Maxwell Lord in Supergirl. Film audiences also know Peter as Mike Dexter in the 90’s teen comedy classic Can’t Hardly Wait, as well as for roles in The Scorpion King alongside The Rock and starring in sci fi action thriller Supernova with Angela Bassett and James Spader. In addition to acting, Peter is an accomplished writer, director, and producer, continuing to create compelling stories both in front of and behind the camera. He recently wrapped directing GRACE PERiOD, a romantic comedy starring Ashley Greene and Seth Green due out later this year.
One of his first starring roles – a TV movie called Calm At Sunset, was filmed in Nova Scotia in 1996 directed by the late Dan Petrie Sr and he’s so excited to be back 30 years later coming to Halifax Comic con.
