Local Transportation
Halifax Transit
Many Halifax Transit bus routes will get you to the Halifax Convention Centre, which is less than a 10-minute walk from both the Scotia Square transit terminal and the Water St. ferry terminal.

Parking
There are a number of parkades within the downtown core, including the Scotia Square Parkade. Our venue, the Halifax Convention Centre, is part of the Nova Centre which offers underground parking directly connected to the venue. The entrance to the underground parking lot is on Prince St. and the cost is $28/day.
On-street parking is also an option. Halifax uses zoned parking pay stations instead of individual meters. You can pay for parking using debit, credit, or smart pay options. Getting to Hal-Con from Halifax Stanfield International Airport
Shuttle
Maritime Bus provides shuttle service between the airport and downtown Halifax. This service does not operate daily, so be sure to check their website for up-to-date schedule and ticket information.
Halifax Transit MetroX Bus
Halifax Transit operates a Regional Express bus service connecting the airport to the Halifax downtown core. The bus will take you from the airport to the Halifax Transit bridge terminal on the Dartmouth side, where you can then take a number of routes to get you to downtown Halifax within minutes. The adult fare is $4.25 and exact change is required if you don’t purchase a ticket in advance at the airport’s ground transportation booth.

Taxi & Car Services
The Halifax Stanfield International Airport maintains a list of licensed drivers who offer pre-arranged transportation service. Car Rentals
There are a number of car rental services available at the airport, including Alamo/National, Avis, Budget, Dollar/Thrifty, Enterprise, and Hertz.
