International TableTop Day 2016: Halifax Edition

TableTop Day HalifaxHal-Con and The Board Room Game Cafe are thrilled to present International TableTop Day 2016: Halifax Edition on April 30, 2016 from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.

TableTop Day headquarters will be located at Saint Mary’s University (Loyola Building), which is an all ages inclusive location, and host to the major tournaments and game events. The Board Room Game Cafe will be our secondary gaming location, and your destination for craft beer, sandwiches, coffee and other treats!

The SMU site will be host to:

  • Splendor Tournament
  • Cash & Guns Tournament
  • Carcassonne Tournament
  • Codenames Tournament (Teams of 2-6)
  • D&D Adventurers League – Curse of Strahd (Ravenloft) New players welcome!
  • Pokemon Demo Presented by The Deck Box
  • Warmachine & Hordes Demo
  • Twilight Imperium Demo
  • The Wizards Path Demo (Kickstarter launching May 2)
  • Halifax Board Game Designers Demos
  • Many more demos
  • Hal-Con Board Game Library (100+ games available to borrow)
  • The Board Room’s amazing collection of Giant Board Games!

Admission is $5 at both locations and if you bring 2 non-perishable food items to be donated to Feed Nova Scotia, you will receive 2 free raffle tickets for our game giveaways! Additional tickets can be purchased onsite with the proceeds going to Feed Nova Scotia.

Outside food and drink is not permitted at either location, but sandwiches, pizza, and other snacks will be available for purchase at SMU, and a full menu is available at The Board Room.
