Please be aware there has been an increase in unsanctioned social media posts, emails, and other messages by groups attempting to represent themselves as Hal-Con ticket resellers.
Unless specified by official Hal-Con accounts, there are no other groups sanctioned to resell tickets. We are not partnered with any groups claiming to be “verified” unless we had said so specifically.
Before buying a secondhand ticket, always be sure to email tickets@hal-con.com to verify that the individual is a ticket holder. Please be careful, do not spend your money without doing due diligence!
Help us in reporting and blocking any group or individuals that Hal-Con has not officially sanctioned as they are not affiliated with us.

Hal-Con is heading back to Forks for a Conversation with the Cullens!
Join us on Friday, November 6 at Cineplex Cinemas Park Lane for a very special Q&A with Peter Facinelli, Kellan Lutz, and Jackson Rathbone. Bring all of those burning questions that you’ve been dying to ask! While we won’t have time to get to every one of them, you might be one of the lucky fans who gets yours answered.
Of course, no Hal-Con event would be complete without costumes…we’re encouraging you to come as your favourite character – no discrimination against Team Edward or Team Jacob for this! We’ll select our favourite cosplay, and the lucky winner will get to take a selfie with our guests!
Oh…and by the way, if you’re looking to round out the evening you can always opt to stick around for a very special screening of the movie that started it all!
Event tickets are $79.95 plus tax for regular admission and $289.95 plus tax for VIP. VIP Admission includes an pre-autographed 11×17 poster signed and delivered by the actors PLUS advanced entry into the theatre so you can pick your favourite spot! If you’d like to join us for the post Q&A screening please let us know when you buy your Q&A ticket – please note that the actors have a super busy schedule during Hal-Con so they won’t be joining us for the movie.

Speed Friending
Want to meet people with whom you can spend your con weekend?
Come out to the 8th annual Speed Friending, where we will be running games and having fun! Enjoy the pre Hal-Con lull with yummy refreshments, cocktails and fun evening at Stardust Bar & Kitchen. Tickets for this event available through Eventbrite.

Whether you’re a seasoned draglesque show attendee, Sweeney Todd aficionado, or new to the scene, this show is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant world of draglesque culture and the iconic romantic (?)… horror musical takeover of the likes we haven’t seen since the (18)40s. So, gather your friends, dress to impress, and get ready for an evening you won’t soon forget!

Put together your best geek-inspired outfit and join the Halifax cosplay community for an evening of snacks, photos, themed cocktails, and live jazz music in the beautiful art deco surroundings of Pacifico. For the fifth time, Bird & Burke Events brings you a charity event to remember.
Doors open at 7 PM for snacks and a photobooth by Conrad the Designer. Then at 8:30 when the venue opens to the public, we move up to our private mezzanine and bar to enjoy live jazz music. Or head back downstairs and cut a rug on the dance floor!
This event is inspired by Disneybounding, which involves putting together outfits inspired by characters, but without being cosplay. The idea is to take colour schemes and iconography of characters to create an outfit that pays homage to that character or invokes it in some way. It’s a great way to dip your toe into cosplay if you’re new, or to remix existing cosplay pieces with things from your closet if you’re old hat at this cosplay gig. We’re calling it Geekbounding, because you are not limited to Disney characters.
If you need outfit inspiration, visit birdandburke on Facebook or @birdandburke on Instagram to see photos from previous years. We encourage people to follow the theme, but we want you to wear whatever makes you happy and comfortable!

No drinks are included, but there will be snacks provided and themed cocktails for purchase.

Ticket FAQs
What does my ticket include?
General entry admission passes (Day Passes and Weekend Passes) include entry into the convention during regular hours on the given day(s). Warp Speed and Impulse Passes have additional perks, the specific perks are listed in the Weekend Passes section above.
Tickets do not include autographs or photo ops—learn more about autograph and photo vouchers here.
How can I pick up my pre-purchased badge or bracelet?
You can pick up your badge by bringing either a printout or a digital copy of your ticket to the Registration Desk in the Argyle Street lobby of the Halifax Convention Centre.
What are the ages for a Child Pass?
A Child Pass grants admission to children ages 6 to 12. Children 5 and under do not require a ticket. Attendees 13 and older require a regular ticket.
Will my child need adult accompaniment?
Any child using a Child Pass and children under the age of 5 require adult accompaniment. Adults will need to have their own admission ticket or pass.
What are the ages for a Senior Pass?
Senior Passes are available to those aged 65 and up.
What do I need to get a Student/Military/Senior ticket?
To be able to get a Student/Military/Senior Pass, you must be able to show corresponding ID upon entering the convention. Failure to present the required ID will result in an additional $15 ticket upgrade fee that you’ll need to pay before being admitted to Hal-Con.
If the ticket type I want sells out, will there be any more available at the door?
We do not hold back tickets for sale at the door. Attendance limits at Hal-Con are based on the legal capacity of the venue, and it has always been our policy to release all available tickets in a given category at the same time.
I bought a ticket but now I can’t go. What are my options?
We’re sorry to be missing you! Tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable. You can give or sell your ticket (at or below face value) to someone else. If you would like to transfer your ticket, please email Tickets@hal-con.com or fill out our Ticket Transfer Form below to do so.

Only the ticket holder (not the ticket purchaser) can transfer tickets. Please remember that selling and transferring tickets is done at the ticket holder’s own risk.
Terms and Conditions
The purchase of any ticket constitutes an acceptance of all of the terms and conditions. Tickets are available while supplies last. All tickets are non-refundable.
You agree to abide by the policies and regulations outlined in our policies page as well as those imposed by the venue.
By attending Hal-Con 2026, you consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded and to the release or publication of any and all recorded media of your appearance or voice for any reason in connection with Hal-Con Sci-Fi & Fantasy Association.
Some guests may charge additional fees for autographs and photo ops.
