As we approach Phase 5, we have a number of announcements to make about Hal-Con 2021!
The second block of Hal-Con 2021 tickets will be released at 7pm on the day after Phase 5 takes effect (currently anticipated to be Wednesday, September 15th). We will confirm the ticket release date and time once Nova Scotia officially enters Phase 5. 1,000 more tickets will be released at that time: 500 for Saturday, October 23rd and 500 for Sunday, October 24th.
The rest of the available tickets for Hal-Con 2021 will be released two weeks after the second block of tickets is released.
Although masks will no longer be mandatory in Phase 5, we are still committed to being a masked event for the safety of our attendees, guests, and volunteers. There will be designated areas where attendees may remove their masks to eat and drink, but masks will be mandatory in all other areas unless you provide proof of a medical exemption.
The province recently announced that effective October 4th, proof of full vaccination will be required to attend nonessential recreational events. All Hal-Con attendees must be prepared to comply with provincial vaccination requirements.
If you purchased a ticket for Hal-Con already and you do not anticipate being able to comply with provincial vaccination requirements, please contact tickets@hal-con.com for a full refund. Tickets purchased after the beginning of Phase 5 will not be refundable due to vaccine status.
