The door price for a Friday Day Pass will be $40, while supplies last.

Please note that tickets will not be available in retail stores this year, they will only be sold via our website and Eventbrite.

Hal-Con allows you to transfer your ticket; attendees can transfer tickets by filling out the Ticket Transfer Form and providing the name and email address of the person you wish to have the tickets transferred to. Transfer deadline is September 15th at 11:59 pm Atlantic Time.


By purchasing a ticket you acknowledge having read these terms and conditions. The purchase of any ticket constitutes an acceptance of all of the terms and conditions. Tickets are available while supplies last. All tickets are non-refundable.

Please bring the QR coded online ticket (either printed or on a mobile device) to Registration (located in the box office of the Scotiabank Center, Halifax, Nova Scotia) during the days of the convention. From there, they will be exchanged for their respective bracelets/badges. You will not be allowed to register unless you bring your ticket (in print or on mobile device).

The Student/Senior/Military must provide corresponding ID to Registration staff, or the ticket holder will have to pay an additional $10.00 cost toward admission.

The first 750 weekend pass holders to register at the convention will receive special bracelets to allow early entry.

Some guests may charge additional fees for autographs and photo ops.


In past years, we’ve allowed candid photography to take place at the Stargazer Soiree, and allowed fans to take photos of guests. While we understand your excitement and desire to capture the event, we also want guests to be able to feel comfortable while mingling with fans in a relaxed environment. As such, we have decided that we are not going to allow candid photography to take place during the soiree. If you are caught taking pictures, or otherwise making the guests feel uncomfortable, you will be asked to leave; refunds will not be offered. Also, while we encourage attendees at the Soiree to use the photo booth as much as you like, we request that you do not ask the guests to join you in the booth. Doing so can result in removal from the soiree.We appreciate your understanding.


Fans are able to pre-purchase autographs and photo-ops with guests. Due to professional or personal commitments outside of Hal-Con’s control, guests are subject to cancellations or schedule changes. In such circumstances, Hal-Con will provide a refund for any pre-purchased autographs and/or photo-ops in the manner they were purchased.
