This year, Hal-Con’s Guest Team has been focused on finding some amazing local guests. We’re excited to have the chance to focus on the extraordinary talent Nova Scotia has to offer, and we are thrilled to be able to begin announcing our line up!
Our first guest is a local screenwriter whose horror thriller film “Becky” opened in June 2020 to huge success. It’s been described as “Home Alone meets Die Hard meets The Last House On The Left”. Becky stars Lulu Wilson (Annabelle: Creation, The Haunting of Hill House), Kevin James (Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Hitch, “The King of Queens”), Amanda Brugel (“The Handmaid’s Tale”), Joel McHale (“Community”) and New Brunswick’s own, Robert Maillet (Sherlock Holmes).
