We are excited to be able to showcase so much local talent this year – and we’re even more excited to finally be able to share the details with all of you!Our next guest was born in London, England, and raised in Canada. She spent many years in Oakland, California and New York, where she trained as a boxer, wrote for a punk magazine, and owned a gangster rap/indie rock record label. Her novel Ashes, Ashes, a YA post-apocalyptic adventure was published by Scholastic Press and also Germany’s Ars Edition, was a multiple award nominee and bestseller. Her most recent book is the much-praised Governor General’s Literary Award finalist, Arthur Ellis Awards shortlist nominee, and Ann Connor Brimer Award finalist The Grey Sisters. We’re thrilled to welcome Jo Treggiari to Hal-Con 2021! Please note that she will be appearing Sunday only.
